Lakka
Lakka is the northernmost and second large village on Paxos, set in a beautiful horseshoe-shaped bay.
Life in Lakka is restful and unhurried. From one of the numerous tavernas around the bay you may watch the fishing boats and private yachts
come and go as it is one of the favorite spots of the yachting crowd who like to moore in Lakka and spend a few nights. Lakka is the place to be for windsurfers and from here small boats leave to
explore the many coves and beaches of the island. In Lakka you will find narrow streets with about 15 tavernas, several bars, shops and ATM .
Some of the beaches you can visit: Plani, Komeno, Kanoni, Marmaro, and Harami. In Lakka there are surfboards, pedaloes and boats to dicover your own private beach for rent.
Don't miss: The Faros (lighthouse) and Ypapandi Church. Discover the area by foot, small paths and old donkeytracks lead you into hidden villages and gorgeous viewpoints.
